Aerial Trekking

Skylines Aerial Challenge™ has 2 levels of trekking courses, each with their own individual challenges. Leaving from the tower you will need to negotiate a whole circuit of obstacles to finally return to the tower. This tests your nerve – you need to keep going to get to the end! Not for the faint hearted.
Upper Trekking Course:
This course provides a challenging activity 10m above the ground. Whilst attached to a safety lanyard, you will need to conjure up the courage to stride across the gap from the tower onto the course. With a little bit of balance, a smidgeon of confidence, and sprinkling of curiosity then you can try the Aerial Trekking Course. You never know, you could be Natural Born Aerial Trekker!

Lower Trekking Course:
This course is more challenging with tougher obstacles than the Upper Trekking course, for this reason we recommend a minimum age of 12 years. It is more technical because each participant will need to use a Klippa Connector supplied by LOPC to clip and unclip themselves to a series of safety lanyards located around the course.
From the outset, each participant is attached to the Klippa Connector and a safety lanyard. At each obstacle junction, the participant will clip the next safety lanyard which is waiting for them into the Klippa Connector, which in turn allows the previous attached safety lanyard to be unclipped. At no stage will it be possible for the participant to be totally unclipped from a safety lanyard whilst going around the course. The Klippa Connector prevents this from happening. However, the challenge of using the Klippa Connector provides a new dimension to aerial trekking creating a really exciting, progressive experience.

What to wear:
Close fitting clothing is recommended, particularly on the upper body and arms. Trousers and lightweight shoes are also recommended. Long hair should be tied back.
