Sessional, Weekend and Seasonal Staff
Located on the River Soar, LOPC is a vibrant, friendly centre providing land and water based activities and courses to people from the local area and beyond.
We have 27,000 users per year, aged from 5yrs upwards of all abilities and background. Our users include:
o Activate After School Club
o Schools and colleges
o Holiday schemes
o Families and individuals
o Corporate training.
o LOPC also provides a diverse annual coach education programme for land and water activities.
During 2010, we need more enthusiastic, qualified instructors to join our friendly team to deliver activity sessions between May and September. In house training and NGB qualifications will be provided to successful candidates.
Ideally, applicants will hold a valid 1st Aid certificate, and at least one of the following current qualifications:
o BCU Level 2 Kayak or Canoe
o Single Pitch Award
o GNAS Community Sports Club Leader Award
o NSRA YPS Tutor
o BFA Activity Leaders Award
LOPC is a non residential centre so we can not provide accommodation.
