Tuesday Evenings - Club Sessions
Our Climbing Club now offers themed Tuesday evenings for both adults and children. Each session brings something a little different—ranging from skill-building and coaching to light-hearted challenges and just a bit of fun.
As always, taking part in the theme is completely optional. If you’d prefer to come along for a regular climb, that’s absolutely fine too.
Here’s what we’ve got planned:
23rd June – The Tower
Reverse Route Night
Can you climb the route in reverse? Test your technique by tackling the descent as well as the ascent.
30th June – LOPC
Bean Bag Challenge
Climb with a twist! Balance a bean bag on your head, shoulder, or even the back of your neck—how does it change your approach?
7th July – The Tower
Resting Techniques
Long routes can be tough on the muscles. Learn how to rest effectively without breaking your climb.
14th July – LOPC
Novelty Gloves Evening
Think you’ve mastered the route? Try it wearing boxing gloves and see how your grip and control is put to the test.
21st July – The Tower
Timed Challenges
Take part in friendly competitions or simply aim to beat your personal best—how fast can you climb?
28th July – LOPC
Rope Climbing
Learn the challenging technique of using your body efficiently to climb a rope—harder than it looks, but incredibly rewarding!
