There may be room for some flexibility, and we actively encourage the Children to have a say in what they would like to do, therefore activities may vary (including for conditions on the day, such as weather restrictions). Please note that LOPC reserve the right to alter activities and groups on the day. We make every effort to stick to the original activity plan, but occasionally we may have to make changes.

Prepare your children to be outside all day, in all weather

Thursday River Trip: We plan to resume the Thursday River Trip in the Summer Holiday Scheme. Not all groups with water activities will attend each time. We cannot guarantee which groups will be joining this. The land group will never attend the River Trip.

What to bring...

Please ensure that all children bring a packed lunch, wear closed toe shoes and bring spare clothes regardless of the activities. Sessions will still run in all weather conditions. During sunnier days please put sun cream on your child before they attend, and supply them with their own to reapply throughout the day.

Electronic devices...

We ask that children do not bring electronic devices as they are responsible for these items, or hand them into the office in the morning to be collected at the end of the day. Devices will be handed into the office if children take or use these items while on sessions and breaks.

Food and drinks...

Please send your child with a packed lunch and water bottle, they will also have breaks throughout the day. Children will have the opportunity to refill bottles with water.

Please fill out the consent form while booking. Where unavoidable (such as making a booking for another person's child, or a change in medical conditions) please be prepared to fill in a paper copy on arrival, or print out the form at home and bring it on the first day.
