This is a continuation from the Level 1 course. 

Participants will practice their skills and climbing techniques starting to climb different graded routes. Participants will continue to work through their logbook on the NICAS Level 2 Award. Upon completion of the award participants should be equipped with the skills and knowledge to use any indoor climbing wall. 
 
The course will cover the following: 
Tying in self and others 
Thorough understanding of the pre-climb checks 
Solo belaying and use of ground anchors 
Holding a fall 
Knowledge of different grades and what to expect 
Using bouldering problems to improve technique 
Climbing a variety of routes 
 
Participants are able to keep their log books and carry on progressing after they have finished the course. 
 
Minimum age is 8 years old, participants should have completed the Level 1 before enrolling on to the course.
