Key Stage 2
We are proud to offer a variety of activities suitable for Key Stage 2 pupils that can link to the national curriculum. With a wider range of activities recommended as accessible to year 4 and above, as confidence and independence increases and pupils are able to identify suitable challenges.
These activities are all charged at our standard activity rate plus £10 for planning time and resources for each activity you book. There is also the option to hire our classroom facilities before or after the session to enhance and consolidate learning. We can also provide activities that might link to a particular topic of study, or schemes of work outside the national curriculum - just ask!

History - Stone Age Day
Linking Archery and Bushcraft in Stone Age times to the history curriculum by practical application of skills.
Hunter gatherer archery or bushcraft sessions exploring nutrition and muscles and bones (year 3), water collection and purification, and solids, liquids and gases (year 4), forces at play- climbing or on the water (year 5), identification and classification of bug life (year 6).
Innate in our range of exciting sports as an alternative to mainstream PE provision, an opportunity to cover the Outdoor Adventurous Activity requirements of the P.E. curriculum
Map reading and navigation skills: using maps to understand the local area and its features; using a key to understand symbols and colours; using scale to understand distance; use of compasses; 6 figure grid references.
