Course Description

This course is the next stage on from Level 1 and aims to build on the skills and knowledge already gained to create safe, competent climbers with the confidence to use public walls in their spare time.

Part of the course will be held at The Tower which is at Leicester Leys Leisure Centre, this may change depending on Covid restrictions

Upon completing the course you will either be at an appropriate level to use public climbing walls or you will be given your log book and an action plan to try and complete your Level 2

Dates for 2022

  • Saturdays - 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th February, 5th, 19th and 26th March. 9.30am - 11am for the first 6 sessions and the last session is 9.30am - 12.30pm. Instructor: TBC
  • Fridays - 25th February, 4th, 11th, 18th 25th March,  1st and 8th April. 11.15am - 12.45pm for the first 6 sessions and the last session is 11.15am - 2.15pm. Instructor: TBC

The level 2 course will consist of six 90 minute sessions and a final 3 hour session. The first six sessions will be at Leicester Outdoor pursuits Centre and the last session will be at The Tower which is at Leicester Leys Leisure Centre. In order to succeed in this course, as many dates as possible must be attended.
