Children's Paddlepower Club

Perfect course for children starting out in canoe and kayaking. Ideal for ages 8 to 13. Have fun learning and getting to grips with all the basic skills in starting out in paddlesport.

1 Star - Introduction to Canoeing and Kayaking

A full day of learning all the basics about canoe and kayaking. Perfect for beginners who want to get it all done in one day.

2 Star - Canoe & Kayak Improvers

Done the introduction and want to learn more? This course covers more intermediate skills to improve and gain more confidence in your paddling.

3 Star - Whitewater Kayak

2 day course learning to perfect the flat water paddle skills and start using these skills on basic white water. The 3 Star is also a pre-requisite for the UKCC endorsed British Canoeing Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Paddlesport

3 Star - Open Canoe

2 day course learning to perfect the flat water paddle skills and start using these skills on open and moving water. The 3 Star is also a pre-requisite for the UKCC endorsed British Canoeing Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Paddlesport

3 Star - Touring Canoe or Kayak

Two day training and assessment course for an alternative 3 Star Award. Ideal for people who want to progress and are more interested in touring on sheltered water. This award can be one of your pre-requsites for the UKCC endorsed British Canoeing Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Paddlesport

British Canoeing Foundation Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT)

Learn the simple and safe skills used in the canoeing and kayaking environment.

Kayak Rolling Clinic - River

One off workshop with the option to come back for a second top up. Aiming to either teach you the basics or improve your rolling in a kayak. Perfect follow on to the swimming pool course or a chance to jump straight on the river and go for it.

Kayak Rolling Clinic - Swimming Pool

This is course is designed specifically to get you able to roll a kayak. Rolling a kayak can be quite a complex manoeuvre made even more difficult by having to perform it under water. Therefore we have put together a course that will be purely focused on getting you to roll a kayak.
