Packages for Youth, Sport and Community Groups.
Our range of activities are ideal for group leaders who are looking for an introductory activity or a progressive developmental programme.
Whatever your request we will endeavour to meet your requirements to the best of our abilities. LOPC has a reputation of working with users to provide activities tailor made to their specific needs.
Our accreditations by British Canoeing (Activity Provider Quality Mark) Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA), Learning Outside the Classroom (Quality Badge) and Adventuremark (AAIAC) emphasise these standards.
Our staff will help co-ordinate all aspects of your visit, while our Instructors will lead all the sessions, supported by your Leaders and parents as required or available. All this ensures you can provide adventurous, outdoor activities for your members, safe in the knowledge that their safety, enjoyment and learning are at the forefront of our minds at all times.
Sessions last 90 minutes, which includes safety briefings and the fitting of the specialist equipment. We work with a ratio of 1 activity Instructor for every 10 participants and can accommodate any group size that you may wish to bring.
All sessions will be supervised by LOPC Instructors. There are 15 minute breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon for snacks, drinks and toilet stops as required. These periods will require supervision by group Leaders.
LOPC have individual consent forms for participants, alternatively if the group wish to use their own consent forms for the visit, then the group Leader can complete a single form for all participants. All consent forms and kit lists can be found on our Useful downloads page.
If the group consists of more than 20 people, LOPC will aim to provide a lockable room that can be used as a base for the duration of the visit. We also have lockable cupboards for storage in the changing rooms and valuables such as car keys & mobile phones can be kept in reception, all of which are done at the owners’ risk.
LOPC appreciates that Youth Groups & Community Organisations operate on tight budgets, and transport costs are expensive. Therefore, LOPC may be able to offer discounts for large bookings over 50 people per visit. This must be agreed by the Centre Manager in advance.
