Team Building
Sometimes a company recognises its employees need a chance to get together and learn more about each other and develop to become a better team. A happy team working together effectively can easily increase its productivity which inevitably helps the organisation to reach its goals.
As part of your bespoke package we can offer a half hour programme of Icebreaking activities. These can be useful to set the tone for the day’s activities, diffuse any apprehension, break down hierarchical barriers and get the team into a responsive mood. We offer a range of short, fun, low impact challenges suitable for all ages and abilities.

Why not have a meeting with a difference? Many organisations understand the benefits of meeting up outside the workplace. Catering
LOPC can arrange a variety of buffets for you should you wish to eat during your stay at the centre. Take a look at the different selections below and feel free to ask for them when you make your booking. Please note any special dietary requirements can be catered for, just let us know when making your booking.

Hire Our Facilities
Located on the A6/A563 ring road, with direct access to the City or a short drive from the M1, Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre is a suitable venue for a range of functions.
Our site encompasses 15 acres with a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities.
Our hire options range from individual rooms suitable for meetings, club gatherings or parties, to a whole site hire for larger events. We have successfully hosted large Scout and Guide camps as well as large corporate family fun days and big family celebrations.
The Function Room (Riverside Room)
The ideal space to hire for any occasion from corporate visits to birthday celebrations.
The room is fully equipped to ensure visitors get the most out of their LOPC experience. For companies that wish to attend the Centre for a unique team building experience and want to hire the Riverside Room you will have access to:
- Interactive whiteboard
- Laptop
- Projector
- Wi-Fi
- Tea & coffee facilities
The room will accommodate 40 in a cabaret style or a theatre style, 30 in a boardroom style or 50 informally.
The Riverside Room is served by a small kitchen with large range, grill and water boiler.
This room will allow you to get the most out of your training and developmental programme at LOPC.
